Integration into the Adeona group

Kiomda joins Adeona alongside Explain, a mobility consultancy. Pierre Odent takes over as president. The company gains access to the human, financial, and digital resources of a group with 35 engineers and 4 offices in France.

A prolific engineer and inventor, Jean-Claude Dubois has dedicated his career to simplifying complex technical problems. With 28 international patents to his name, he founded Kiomda in 2020 to democratize access to traffic data, free from the usual constraints of civil engineering. From invention to market launch, Kiomda has built a different approach to counting—one that is lighter, more mobile, and more accessible. Adeona Group - Explain

Mobility planning consultancy

On January 1, 2024, Kiomda joined the Adeona group alongside the engineering consultancy Explain, led by Pierre Odent, who now serves as president of both entities. This merger has allowed Kiomda to accelerate its growth by leveraging Explain’s 35 engineers, its four offices across France, its human, financial, and digital resources, and its recognized expertise in mobility planning and active travel modes. Jean-Claude Dubois continues the journey, ensuring the continuity of the spirit of innovation that has driven Kiomda from the start.
