La Velosceny, the cycle route that connects Paris at Mont-Saint-Michel, imposes mandatory counting points along its route. One of them is located in Chartres, where a Kiomda box was installed in order to meet this regulatory requirement and to provide accurate data on cycling attendance.
The tool allows document local attendance and to feed the reports sent to Velosceny Committee, without the figures being directly exploited by elected officials or municipal teams.

The data collected is used mainly for fulfill the legal obligation to count imposed by the committee. Mr. Lambert, who is in charge of monitoring, occasionally consults the figures via The Kiomda Reports interface, which allows him toexport data as.csv for transmission.
“I consult the numbers via Reports, even if it's not often. The last time was in December, four months ago.”
Thanks to Kiomda counter, Chartres responds effectively to Velosceny tracking requirements, while benefiting from a flexible solution that can evolve according to the future needs of the city.
