

Since 2023, the CCVT has been using 14 Kiomda counters to track the use of its hiking trails. The data collected makes it possible to adjust the arrangements and to anticipate the rise of new practices (snowshoeing, mountain biking).
The data from the sensors allows the CCVT to:

The community is preparing for the future:
It works well. We even reused some sensors in winter on snowshoe trails.
Between 8 and 10. We are satisfied. The theft of a meter cooled us a bit, but that does not call into question the quality of the tool.
Following this incident, the community is considering“hollowed-out pole” option proposed by Kiomda, to make devices more secure in certain sensitive areas (for example during hunting season).
