Spirilo passage counter
Spirilo is a counting system based on buried electromagnetic loops, designed to measure cycling flows continuously and reliably, including on busy roads.
Invisible once installed, it allows measurement without concealing, particularly suitable for structured cycling facilities.
Spirilo is based on a proven approach: electromagnetic detection by buried loop.
Each pass disrupts the field generated by the loop, allowing the system to detect and analyze flows accurately.
This technology is particularly relevant when flows are dense and continuous, and measurement accuracy is a priority.
It also makes it possible to qualify uses, by distinguishing different types of users (bicycles, scooters, vehicles).
Electromagnetic detection offers a stable measurement, independent of external conditions (light, weather, ambient temperature).
The loops are directly integrated into the pavement, with no visual impact or constraints of installation on the surface.
Without electrical connection, works on a long battery life.

Field configuration
On a narrow road where cyclists travel in both directions, two successive loops allow the direction of passage to be reconstructed.
On a one-way track, one or two loops make it possible to measure a homogeneous and continuous flow, with great precision.
On a wide or separate track, loops positioned side by side and then downstream make it possible to clearly distinguish the two directions of traffic, even in case of heavy traffic.
